Description
Welcome to the fourth and final Compendium edition of Wingleader Magazine. I say 'final' although our plans for next year do still include printed versions, they will not be in this Compendium format. I must personally thank everyone who has bought or subscribed to these printed compendia. It was always my belief that people would still pay for a printed version even if the digital versions were free. I'm happy to say that sales figures have confirmed my theory!
In this issue, once again we've got a wide variety of articles covering all manner of subjects from a 'stealth' WW1 airship all the way through to Rhodesian Hawker Hunters. This volume's aviation art interview is with Matchbox Legend Roy Huxley. I've known Roy for years and probably his work more than any other that inspired me to try to make a living from painting aircraft. Look out for a book of his work that we'll be publishing in 2020.
