Dating back to the 1950s or 1960s, this solid white metal or lead casting captures the unique, revolutionary twin-tail-boom architecture of Britain's second operational jet fighter and the first to successfully land on an aircraft carrier.
The miniature features a nostalgic, characterful hand-painted European theater camouflage scheme consisting of dark green and grey upper surfaces, painted cockpit framing, and miniature RAF Type D roundels on the wings. It sits elegantly on a curved wire mounting arm balanced inside its original dark blue, triangular wooden or heavy composite desk stand. The base is decorated with a hand-painted yellow and red Royal Air Force military roundel at its center.
