Description
In this complete edition of the Merseyside Aviation Society's monograph on United States Air Force and United States Army Air Force serials, the previous editions have been combined to record and amend the information for all years from 1946 to 1977. This January 1978 reprint includes further information and amendments.
The sections dealing with USAF Serial Systems and Abbreviations are followed by sections dealing with USAF Identification Markings ("Buzz Numbers").
The work is illustrated with photographs, and credits are given to Phil Butler and others for their contributions.
