Description
The CH-53G is a German-built version of the American Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion. Entering service in the 1970s, it was used mainly for heavy transport, carrying troops, equipment, or cargo. Powered by two T64 engines, it featured a large cabin and could also carry loads externally. The CH-53G served the German Army for decades and was later upgraded with better avionics and self-defense systems.
