Description
The RF-101C Voodoo was a supersonic reconnaissance aircraft developed from the F-101 fighter by McDonnell for the U.S. Air Force. Designed for high-speed, low-altitude photo missions, it played a key role during the Cold War and the Vietnam War. Equipped with multiple cameras in its nose and capable of flying at over Mach 1, the RF-101C provided critical intelligence in contested airspace. Its speed and range made it a valuable asset for tactical and strategic reconnaissance until it was phased out in the 1970s.
