Description
The Morane-Saulnier MS.230 was a French primary trainer aircraft introduced in the 1920s and widely used during the interwar period. Featuring a parasol wing design, reliable radial engine, and simple but sturdy construction, it offered excellent stability and forgiving handling, making it ideal for novice pilots. The aircraft was used extensively by the French Air Force and exported to several countries, serving as the backbone of pilot training programs. Its predictable stall characteristics and easy maintenance allowed trainee aviators to gain confidence in flight fundamentals. Although obsolete for combat by the 1930s, the MS.230 played a crucial role in shaping a generation of military pilots.
