Description
The A6M5 Zero, developed from 1938 and introduced in 1943, was Japan’s upgraded fighter to counter the F6F Hellcat. It had shorter wings, added armor, better cooling, and longer exhaust pipes. Though more maneuverable, it arrived too late to impact WWII’s outcome.
