Description
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was Japan’s main naval fighter in WWII. First used in China in 1940, it excelled with its range and agility. The A6M5 variant, developed to face newer Allied fighters, had shorter wings for better roll rate, stronger wing skin for faster dives, upgraded exhaust, and improved 20mm cannons. Model 52 added 11.5mm armor behind the pilot. Despite upgrades, it was soon outclassed.
