Description
Entering service in 1937, the Hawker Hurricane was the first RAF monoplane fighter and was vitally important during the early years of WWII, particularly during the Battle of Britain. This Tropical version of the Hurricane was used extensively in North Africa. The extra filters for the desert conditions gave it a distinctive appearance.
