Description
Entering RAF service in 1954, the Hawker Hunter F.6 was the ultimate development of the UK's first successful transonic fighter aircraft and a huge export success. Serving with 19 RAF squadrons, 46 were converted to FGA.9 standard, with a strengthened wing to allow the carriage of a wider range of underwing stores. This new Airfix kit, with decal options for a 92 Squadron RAF Germany aircraft from 1956 and a 1 Squadron RAF aircraft from 1958, is sure to prove popular with modellers.
