Description

TThe Folland Gnat was a small, agile British subsonic jet developed in the 1950s as a trainer and light fighter. Used by the RAF and other air forces, it's best known as the aircraft of the Red Arrows aerobatic team from 1964 to 1979. Evolved from the Folland Midge, the Gnat earned praise for its performance and set several world records. The final major version was the HAL Ajeet, built in India, which served with the Indian Air Force until 1991.
