8vo: 48 pp.; 3 pl. - First edition regarding the first aerostatic experiments made in Lorraine, following the first attempts to make an aerostat flight in Paris, among which the demonstration for the public by Étienne and Joseph Montgolfier in Annonay (5 June 1783). Illtrated with 3 plates and one in-text. Boyé (1869-1945) was a lawyer and historian, he presented this work at the "Exposition internationale de l'Est de la France" in Nancy in 1909.
