TRANSPARENT INNER SCALE STRIPS
The IF Enroute Plotter has been designed so that the scales can be read directly and easly through the transparent strips. It is not necessary to transfer the scale you are using to me outside edge of the plotter. The inner scales can be viewed directly through the transparent strip, just place the correct scale over the airway and measure the distance. This feature will make using this olotter easier and more convenient.
A kilometers-nautical miles conversion scale is conveniently located on the
This plotter can be used as a ruler by using the scale of 1 inch equals 10 nautical miles. Each 10 nautical miles equals one inch and each tick represents one tenth of an inch.

BEARINGS AND COURSES
The plotter centerline is highlighted by arrows from each compass rose.
Position the plotter centerline over the desired track to be flown. Slide the plotter lelt or right along the track until one of the compass roses is centered over the
desirecravalo
If the centerline arrow on the compass rose points in the SAME direction as your
flight, read the radial or bearing at the north tick extending from the navaid.
If the centerline arrow on the compass rose points OPPOSITE to the direction of Tight, the radial or bearing is the reciprocal of the number read at the navaid's north magnetic tick.
