Description
Hélice bipale complète en métal avec cône (spinner) d’origine. Les proportions et la construction renvoient à une production européenne de l’après-guerre, destinée à un avion léger ou d’entraînement à moteur à pistons (ordre de grandeur 150 à 300 chevaux).
Aucun marquage lisible n’est visible sur les emplantures des pales ni sur le moyeu. Une zone plus claire au bout de chaque pale indique la présence passée d’autocollants ou de bandes de protection anti-érosion, comme on en trouvait sur les hélices de fabricants européens ou britanniques (de Havilland, Ratier, Hamilton, etc.). Cette trace ancienne confirme l’origine aéronautique et l’authenticité de la pièce.
Two-blade all-metal propeller with original spinner. The proportions and construction correspond to a European post-war production, designed for a light or training aircraft powered by a piston engine of about 150 to 300 horsepower.
No readable markings are visible on the blade roots or hub. A lighter area at the tip of each blade indicates that original decals or protective anti-erosion tapes were once applied, as commonly seen on European and British propellers (de Havilland, Ratier, Hamilton, etc.). This remnant confirms the aeronautical origin and authenticity of the piece.
Tweedelige metalen vliegtuigschroef met originele spinner. De verhoudingen en constructie wijzen op een Europese productie uit de naoorlogse periode, bedoeld voor een licht of opleidingsvliegtuig met een zuigermotor van ongeveer 150 tot 300 pk.
Er zijn geen leesbare markeringen zichtbaar op de wortels van de bladen of op de naaf. Een lichtere zone aan het uiteinde van elk blad wijst op de vroegere aanwezigheid van fabrieksstickers of slijtvaste beschermstroken, zoals gebruikelijk bij Europese en Britse propellers (de Havilland, Ratier, Hamilton, enz.). Dit spoor bevestigt de luchtvaart technische oorsprong en authenticiteit van het stuk.
Het geheel is compleet en goed bewaard, met een natuurlijke en gelijkmatige patina. Vaak gepresenteerd als decoratief of museaal object ter illustratie van de luchtvaart uit de naoorlogse periode.
