Description
Most of the facts presented in this book have been drawn from the Finnish National Archives from its Sörnäinen division, which was previously the Finnish War Archives. The documents consulted were the order files by the Air Force Headquarters dealing with the national and serial markings as well as camouflage. Another valuable source of information was the individual aircraft files, which held also the repair reports, usually containing also the painting statements.
The bulk of the photos and especially the high quality ones came from the Finnish Defence Force collections, shortly abbreviated as SA-kuva. Thank you for making them available to the public.
