In 1980, I published the second book in the Naval Fighters Series, the McDonnell Banshee F2H-1 through F2H-4. It was 78 pages with 95 photos and over 150 profiles. It was rather crude by today's standards, but was highly sought after and was reprinted two times. It has been out-of-print for more than 15 years and this volume has replaced at least part of it. This volume covers the F2H-1 and the F2H-2/2B/2N/2P Banshees. The F2H-3 and F2H-4 will be covered in a future volume. Because of the demand for the original volume and the fact that it was mostly drawings, as many as the layout permitted are included in this new volume.
