Description

After technical studies in secondary school and some years of work in private, as most of young guys did, my dream was aviation.

In may 1970 I decided to go for Sabena, "Société Anonyme Belge d'Exploitation et de Navigation Aérienne.

At last, I would see and work on those magnificent flying machines.

What can be more exciting than to see them flying in the air and especially to see land several tons of metal gracefully without any problem. This dream ended brutally on November 7th, 2001 due to the bankruptcy of Sabena. Anyway, after 32 years, this souvenir will always remain on my mind...
