The model features the classic Sabena livery with the airline's distinctive blue globe logo on the tail and 'sabena' titles along the fuselage. Crafted with attention to detail, this collectible showcases the twin-engine narrow-body jet in its authentic color scheme, complete with accurate markings and proportions. The model comes in its original Herpa Wings packaging and represents an excellent addition to any aviation collection. The Boeing 737-200 was an early variant of the world's best-selling jet airliner family, featuring a stretched fuselage compared to the original 737-100. This aircraft type served as a workhorse for many airlines throughout the 1970s and 1980s, offering reliable short to medium-haul service. The real aircraft measures approximately 30.5 meters in length with a wingspan of 28.35 meters. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney JT8D turbofan engines, the 737-200 could accommodate between 115-130 passengers depending on configuration. Sabena operated several of these aircraft as part of its European and domestic network before the airline ceased operations in 2001.
