Le Second Congrès International de l'Aviation Agricole dont le présent volume constitue le rapport, a revêtu un caractère plus international que le premier congrès de Cranfield (1959). En effet, 27% des participants étaient étrangers à Grignon alors qu'à Grignon 61% des participants n'étaient pas originaires de la France, pays hôte.
Ainsi que cela ressort du présent rapport, bien des problèmes nouveaux ont été discutés au cours de ce congrès. Celui-ci, organisé par le Gouvernement Français, l'Industrie Française et le Centre International d'Aviation Agricole, s'est tenu à l'École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Grignon où l'accueil fut particulièrement soigné...
