Description
Caisse militaire authentique de la Belgian Air Force, utilisée pour le transport d’équipements et d’outillages. Construite en bois massif, elle est peinte en jaune et porte plusieurs marquages d’époque réalisés au pochoir, dont : « TRANSIT CASE », « HANDLE WITH CARE », « PROPERTY BELGIAN AIR FORCE » et un numéro d’inventaire « N1 ».
Les ferrures et loquets métalliques, avec leur oxydation naturelle, sont d’origine. L’intérieur comporte une sangle de maintien en fibre épaisse.
Authentieke militaire kist van de Belgian Air Force, gebruikt voor het vervoer van uitrusting en gereedschap. De massiefhouten kist is geel geschilderd en draagt verschillende originele stencilmacheringen, waaronder: « TRANSIT CASE », « HANDLE WITH CARE », « PROPERTY BELGIAN AIR FORCE » en het inventarisnummer « N1 ».
De metalen sluitingen en het beslag, met hun natuurlijke oxidatie, zijn origineel. Binnenin bevindt zich een brede bevestigingsriem van stevig geweven vezelmateriaal.
Authentic military crate from the Belgian Air Force, used for transporting equipment and tools. Made of solid wood, it is painted yellow and features several original stencilled markings, including: “TRANSIT CASE”, “HANDLE WITH CARE”, “PROPERTY BELGIAN AIR FORCE” and the inventory number “N1”.
The metal fittings and clasps, with their natural oxidation, are original. The interior contains a thick woven fibre strap for securing contents.
