Description
The Aero Series started off as a series of profiles of significant World War Two and 1920s aircraft, but from number 24 it switched to modern military jets and later also included military helicopters and civil airliners.
With highly pictorial content, more pages and more colour illustrations were included as the series progressed.
Numbers 1-4: 35 pages, 4 pages colour, 9¾ x 12 ins.
Numbers 5-23: 52 pages, 4 pages colour, 9¾ x 12 ins, (except 60 pages in No.21).
Numbers 24-31: 104 pages, more colour.
Numbers 32-42: 70-128 pages, full colour, 9.5 x 7.8 ins.
