Later, the Mk.VC introduced a universal wing allowing various armament fits, wingtip styles, and bomb racks. It saw action across Europe, Malta, North Africa, Italy, Yugoslavia, and Asia. Despite newer models entering service, the Mk.V remained in frontline use through 1944 and beyond.
