The AJ 37 strike version was followed by SK 37 trainers, SF 37 reconnaissance, and SH 37 anti-ship variants. The JA 37 introduced improved avionics and a stronger engine. Modernized versions were designated AJS, AJSF, and AJSH 37. Some SK 37s became EW trainers.
