Powered by the Homare 12 engine from April 1944, the B7A2 demonstrated excellent performance and handling, exceeding Navy specifications when operating correctly. Only 111 were built, and they never saw carrier service due to the loss of Japan’s carriers, instead flying from land bases with the Yokosuka Kokutai. Armed with two 20mm wing cannons, rear MGs, and capable of carrying bombs or torpedoes, it combined high speed, long range, and multi-role flexibility for strike missions. Data: crew 2; span 14.4 m; length 11.49 m; speed 543 km/h; range 3,040 km.

More to read about the KIT here, thanks to scalemates, a Belgian Scale modeling database

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/3015/9446/files/IMG_0901_d61a33a2-d213-4e16-b403-5fb1865aa8d4.JPG?v=1764840218
https://aviation.brussels/products/maquette-a-monter-aichi-b7a2-attack-bomber-ryusei-kai-grace-hasegawa-n-09149-1-48
