ABOUT THE DH-114 HERON
The de Havilland DH.114 Heron is a small propeller-driven British airliner that first flew on 10 May 1950. It was a development of the twin-engine de Havilland Dove, with a stretched fuselage and two more engines. It was designed as a rugged, conventional low-wing monoplane with tricycle undercarriage that could be used on regional and commuter routes. A total of 149 were built; it was also exported to about 30 countries. Herons later formed the basis for various conversions, such as the Riley Turbo Skyliner and the Saunders ST-27 and ST-28.

F-RSIN is a small team in France.
Laurent first started F-RSIN with the small Caravelle 10R JT8D engines conversion set. He designed a number of full kits such as the Mercure, Martin 202/404, Transall, Heron, Dewoitine 338, SAAB Scandia, DC-5, Viscount, Caravelle 10B/12, Britannia, Convair 990, ATR 42/72, Falcon 20, Comet 1, DC-7C or Trident 3B. Laurent has also designed models for Revell (1/144 A400M, 1/72 Gripen and Spitfire) and Heller (1/24 Citroën Type H van and Ferguson TE-20 tractor). Stevens, his husband, has been supporting F-RSIN since the beginning.
Christian's first contribution to F-RSIN was the ever successful SE 161 Languedoc kit now available with a Leduc 021. French and British vintage propliners are his favourites and he is the man behind the Fokker 28, Constellation, Bloch 220, Bretagne, Sandringham, Dewoitine 333, Latécoère 631, Armagnac, Albatross, Potez 62 and many more. His other works include the Do-328, Nord 262, Noratlas, Islander, Trislander, Twin-Otter and more. Beyond resin, his skills include plastic and metal, notably the metal landing gears that come with many F-RSIN kits.
