Edward Alan Scott ( 1946 ) was born in the United States. Since then he has lived and worked around the world in education and as a novelist.
His first book, Project Dracula, was published in 1971 when he was working in Ireland as medical officer at an exclusive boys' school. Leaving the country for research Mayday 747, he virtually lived at Heathrow Airport gathering material for the novel. The depth of his research is typical of his meticulous approach to any literary project : every fact is checked in painstaking fashion to ensure total accuracy and authenticity. When the novel was finished, Edward A. Scott took a teaching post in Lybia for six months before settling in Malta where he was working on a third book.
